Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship
Our nation’s growing achievement gap is being addressed by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). By providing intensive entrepreneurship programs relevant to the real world and to the future of our economy, NFTE inspires young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures.
Since its founding in 2003, NFTE Chicago has developed a strong district-wide partnership with Chicago Public Schools and has reached over 13,500 students. This year, NFTE Chicago will serve 1,500 students in 78 classes in 32 schools and will support and incentivize 36 teachers and 450 volunteers.
