UCAN
UCAN is a powerful voice for abused, troubled or neglected children. Serving a diverse population of nearly ten thousand youths and families, UCAN offers a much needed haven for children with a history of abuse and neglect. Their programs – focused on compassionate healing and which promote education and empowerment – work to give disadvantaged young people the best opportunity to mature into our future leaders.
UCAN recruits, trains and retains a culturally proficient workforce of caregivers who provide individualized services to clients of varying races, religious backgrounds, cultures and creeds. By providing a full continuum of care from foster and adoptive placement to clinical and counseling services, UCAN enables its clients to move from one program to another as their needs change, eliminating transitions and gaps caused by moves between multiple organizations.
