Adler Planetarium 2020 Virtual Celestial Ball

Adler_2500.jpg

As we celebrate our 90th Anniversary, Max Adler's vision lives on in everything we do and in every person we inspire to be part of something bigger. But our world is changing rapidly, and we are here to meet the moment. We are excited to celebrate the future of our museum at this year’s virtual Celestial Ball, hosted by the Adler Planetarium Women’s Board. This year’s celebration will be entirely virtual as the Adler remains closed at this time. Though our building may be closed, the night sky that inspires us remains open to all! Join us for an exclusive first look at how the Adler is reinventing its experience for a digital age, with virtual exhibitions, online science projects, and innovative programming—and find out what’s on the horizon for our next 90 years.

About Adler Planetarium

In 1930, Max Adler opened the first planetarium in the Western Hemisphere: a “classroom under the heavens” where people from all walks of life could experience the beauty of our sky and discover the universe that connects us. Now, as the Adler celebrates its 90th Anniversary, his vision lives on by inspiring people to be part of something bigger. Although our world is changing rapidly, the Adler Planetarium is here to meet the moment.
