This free event will showcase performances from various teen programs, feature celebrity guests, and highlight the incredible work our talented teens have accomplished remotely this summer. While we are devastated to cancel the Gala this year, we’re certain this virtual celebration will lift your spirits and bring our community together when needed most.

About After School Matters
Since 1991, After School Matters’ innovative and engaging after-school and summer programs have provided more than 25,000 opportunities from communities throughout Chicago, providing them with opportunities to explore and develop their talents, while gaining critical skills for success in college, careers and beyond. These programs provide a safe space for teens to foster positive relationships with professional instructors and fellow teens throughout the city. Our nationally-recognized approach, incorporating project-based learning and 21st century skill development, not only enriches lives but also helps to revitalize underserved neighborhoods by leveraging existing resources and infrastructure and fostering partnerships with other organizations, companies and institutions.
Special recognition during the virtual program will be offered to Mentor level and up.
