Metropolitan Planning Council 2021 Annual Event

Join us for the Metropolitan Planning Council’s virtual 2021 Annual Event, focused on the bold changes that are needed for the Chicago region to rebuild better, together. The event will spotlight innovators guiding transformative, equitable, community-centered recovery. One of those innovators is MPC’s 2021 Champion Fighter Award winner, Martin H. Nesbitt, Co-CEO of The Vistria Group.

Nesbitt has written about how the business community can help close the unsustainable wealth gap: “We have the power to target how and where we invest our capital. We can ensure our employees and vendors are diverse. We can partner more effectively to support our communities and customers.

We’re also excited to share stories from some of MPC’s community allies who are leading the way with visionary and tactical approaches to equitable recovery.

When we combine these powerful local voices with change-makers across the philanthropic, business, civic, and public sectors, we’re unstoppable. MPC connects these dots for a future that every Chicagoan deserves: Better//Together.
