Favorite Childhood Memory: There are so many. I come from such a close-nit and loving family where great memories were made just about every day. But I’ll always cherish our Sunday nights in the summer. Shortly after dinner, for some reason the “kids” would all get into our pajamas and then jump into our wood-paneled station wagon. We would drive to “our little ice cream parlor” in Libertyville (aka The Dairy Dream) and enjoy our desserts. Oh what I’d give for just one more of those outings with my whole family.

Cubs or Sox?  Anyone who has been in my office – or my head – knows this is no contest – CUBS!! To paraphrase a song lyric, ironically from a south-sider, my two favorite teams are the Cubs and whoever plays the Sox.

Favorite Movie: A tie between two what now are probably categorized as “oldies”.  Field of Dreams and Apollo 13.  The “you wanna have a catch” scene with Ray and his dad at the end of FOD never fails to hit my emotions hard.  Apollo 13 is so inspirational – a story of true courage and the triumph of the human spirit – and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Captain Lovell (and the movie version too, Tom Hanks) because of my job at PJH.

Nickname:  Mostly –  T, at times – Tommy, to some – Stumpper, to a few PJHers – Thomasina, and in my younger days – Naupps, for reasons I choose not to disclose.
