EVENT CANCELLED
At Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity, we have been following the evolving situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In alignment with the CDC and our local government’s guidelines, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Habitat Hero Award Dinner on Tuesday, June 23rd at the Four Seasons Hotel.
This event represents 60% of the annual income for Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity– and because the need for our work has never been more critical – we continue to fundraise. With your support, funds raised will ensure that we continue to deliver safe shelter to families in communities throughout Chicagoland. The need won’t end and so we will keep working to serve our families and communities.
While we will not physically be gathering this year, we will still be honoring two of our long-time supporters in different ways throughout the year.
2020 Honorees:
Ric Phillips
President & CEO, Elkay Manufacturing
Anixter International Inc.

About Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity’s vision is “a world where everyone has a decent place to live,” and its mission is to “bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.”
Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity – a unique regional support entity in the Habitat for Humanity organization – is an innovative approach created by the eight Chicago-area Habitat affiliates to align our region’s strong and proud culture of philanthropy with the disproportionate need for affordable housing in our region. Through this new collaborative effort, Habitat organizations throughout Chicagoland – working together, and with your support – aim to help significantly more individuals find a decent place to live.
